Instagram signup without a phone number: choose email or SMS
Instagram’s signup page offers a mobile number or email field. If you can use an inbox you control, start there and check it for the code. Consider an SMS number only if you select phone signup or Instagram explicitly asks for text verification.

Do you need a phone number to sign up for Instagram?
Open Instagram’s official signup page
The signup form provides a mobile number or email option. If email is available on your screen, use an inbox you can keep, then follow the prompts for your name, password, birthday, and username. The email confirmation code arrives in that inbox.
Instagram asks for a text code, but you have no number?
If the current signup step asks you to verify a new phone number, you can inspect the Instagram service in Bridge-SMS. Match the number country to the country code selected in Instagram.

- Check the Instagram service, country, current stock, and price before selecting a number.
- Enter the number in Instagram without repeating a country code already selected in the form.
- Request a text, read it in the active order, and return to Instagram to enter the code.
Where is the code if nothing appears in the SMS order?

Can a new number receive a code sent to your old Instagram phone?
No. A code addressed to the phone already attached to your account cannot be rerouted to a newly obtained number. Use the email, signed-in device, or account recovery choices Instagram presents. If you still have access, update your recovery details to contacts you can keep.
