How to receive a Google or Gmail SMS verification code
If Google is asking you for a phone number and an SMS code, choose the Google/YouTube/Gmail service here, select a country, review an offer, and buy the number. Copy it from your active order into Google, request the text, then read the code in that same order. The steps and common errors are below.
This is an estimated starting price. Check the current offer and stock on the order page.
Get a Google SMS code in six steps
- Use the “Choose country & price” button on this page to open the country selector. Google, Gmail, and YouTube share one Google/YouTube/Gmail catalog entry.
- Choose the country required by the phone field on your Google verification page. The site opens the home order interface with this service and country selected.
- Click the orange country price to expand offers. This only reveals prices. Check stock and quantity, sign in, and press Buy on the offer you want to submit an order.
- When a number is assigned, copy it from the active order on the right. Enter it in Google using the country-code format shown by its form.
- Request the SMS in Google, return to the active order, and enter the received code back on the Google page.
- For a completed order, open History to review its number, code, and status.
Enter the number in the format Google requests
If Google has a separate country selector, check it matches your order and avoid entering the country code twice. If Google shows one international phone field, follow its example for the full number. A number rejected immediately has not reached the SMS-delivery stage.
Number rejected or verification text missing?
Google distinguishes a rejected number from an SMS that has not arrived. Its help center explains that numbers can be limited by how many accounts they have verified or created. Buying another temporary number does not guarantee Google will accept it.
| What you see | What to check next |
|---|---|
| This phone number cannot be used for verification | Check country code and format; if Google still rejects it, follow its request for another eligible number |
| This phone number has been used too many times | This is a number-use limit, not a missing-message problem |
| Google says the text was sent, but the order is waiting | Check service, country, number, and time left; use Google’s resend option only as its page permits |
| The order expired or was canceled | Review the order status and applicable rules before trying again |
Which service should I select for Gmail or YouTube?
Select Google/YouTube/Gmail in the Bridge-SMS catalog. The shared listing does not mean every Google workflow sends a text. If Google directs a code to a signed-in device, email, authenticator, or phone number already linked to your account, a newly purchased number cannot receive that code. Use another method offered by Google or its account recovery flow. For ongoing two-step verification, use a number you control long term.
