Bridge-SMS / Guides

How to sign up for Instagram and confirm your account

Start in the official Instagram app or at instagram.com. Choose an email or phone option shown in your current flow. An email code goes to your inbox; a temporary SMS number is relevant only when Instagram asks for a text message.

Choose email or phone before you start

Use a contact method you can access again. The available options can differ by device, region, and account state. There is no reason to order an SMS number before you see a phone verification step.

Create the account step by step

  1. Open the official Instagram app or website and choose the new-account option.
  2. On the current web form, enter your email or phone, password, birth date, name, and desired username. Check the country code if you use a phone.
  3. Review the terms shown beside Submit; the account owner decides whether to submit.
  4. If Instagram subsequently requests a confirmation code, read it from the same email inbox or phone number and enter it only on Instagram.
  5. After sign-up, check that you can log in again and add recovery details you can keep.

When Instagram asks for a phone SMS

If you choose to use Bridge-SMS, open its Instagram service page, choose a country, and review the current price, stock, and order rules. The assigned number appears in your active order. Enter it in Instagram using the requested dialing format, request the text, and return to the same order to read the code.

Instagram sign-up questions

Must I use a phone number?

Follow the sign-up options in your current Instagram flow. If an email option is available and no phone check appears, you do not need an SMS order for that step.

Will a temporary number always work?

No. Instagram controls number acceptance and delivery. Check the live order details before buying.

Can I use a temporary number for future recovery?

Do not rely on it for long-term recovery; keep an email or number you control.
